Filled the holes in the hood to remove the dated center trim, just finished the sanding. I love my new #durablocks

Another hour or two of sanding on the car and I can spray the final primer, then sand with 600 and she will be ready for paint.

Gas tank update. After fighting with it, and scuffing the finish, I recoated it, and it’s mounted with zip ties. I bought some longer bolts today, and will get the secure mounting finished up. Also used the soft side of Velcro as a vibration dampener, since for the EFI system the pump is now mounted in the tank. Thanks for the advice @garage42inc

As I’m finishing the EFI installation which included a new tank, sending unit, and fuel pump setup from @holleyperformance I decided to go with the in tank #holley #gbody #fuelpump and sending unit combo, for a return less installation.

While waiting for the sending unit combo to get here, I decided to finish up the rear suspension since I’m back here already with tons of space. Rear #bmr sway bar installed, 1.5” #BMR drop springs already installed, time to install the shock tower brace and shocks. This will button up the rear end.
