The PC Of Souls | An Avatar Themed PC

The PC Of Souls | An Avatar Themed PC

Hello everyone, once again I have been given the oportunity by Thermaltake Technology INC to design and complete another awesome case mod. While they choose the case for me, the Thermaltake Core P3, the design aspect is all mine. So I am choosing something that I have been thinking about for awhile. This mod will be featured at the Thermaltake Suite in Las Vegas Nevada for CES 2017. Make sure if you are going to attend that you find me and say hi and we can take some photos together!

When I first watched some of the commentary and was reading about the movie James Cameron’s Avatar I remember him speaking of how he had to wait for technology to catch up to his vision so the movie could be created in the way he wanted, with the stunning visual affects that he had pictured in his mind. I often feel this way when beginning a mod, and sometimes it takes a little while to figure out exactly how I am going to execute something so the end result is how I pictured.

I thought creating something that could blend creative vision, and take advantage of my creativity to turn it into a PC Mod could turn into something really cool, and what better case the the Thermaltake Core P3 to showcase it.

So far I am working on the component list, so those details will be revealed later, but let’s take a look at the parts that have been supplied by Thermaltake Technology INC that showed up on my doorstep today.

The components can be found here from Thermaltake Technology INC

Quakecon Mod : The Arena

Quakecon Mod : The Arena

Quakecon Mod : The Arena, In 2015, we stepped foot in the doors of Quakecon for the first time. We were invited by Modders-Inc who run a yearly case mod competition, and wanted to start a live modding competition. Of course we accepted the chance to be involved in some live modding. You can find the final pictures below of our mod in it’s final form. We were proud to have taken first place in the live mod contest and the case mod division of the modding contest held every year. Maybe one year we will be back to compete again!

This rig was also featured by Nvidia in their YIDIY section here:

This year we set out to meet a few goals, and so far we have successfully accomplished those goals we have set. We have traveled within the United States to Dallas Texas to visit QuakeCon, and also to San Francisco to the Intel Developers Forum. We brought our custom modified computer “RevoluTtion” to enter into the US Case Modding Championship at QuakeCon and were honored to showcase “RevoluTtion” on stage at IDF for Intel’s Mega Gaming Session. While at QuakeCon we took first place with “RevoluTtion” in the US Case Modding Championship. During our visit to the Intel Developers Forum we were honored to display “RevoluTtion” on stage among some of the best case modders creations in the world. While browsing through social media, we ran across this little gem, which looks to be an upcoming water block for the ASUS Strix GTX 980 from Thermaltake Technology INC. WIth the Launch of the Thermaltake Pacific Series water cooling products, showcased at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, we are pleasantly surprised to see Thermaltake launch into, not just CPU water block market, but also the Graphics card water block market.
